A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony

Karelle and Paul,Paul and Karelle,Mollymook ocean swimmers,Mollymook,Destination Mollymook Milton Ulladulla,Mollymook Beach,Mollymook Beach Waterfront

Karelle arrives on an ‘Outrigger’

Paul and Karelle commit for life

Saturday was a beautiful day. Happiness was written all over the faces of the 80 or more family and friends who witnessed and shared in this special occasion for the union in marriage of these two lovely people. And yes it did rain, but no one was worried, the joy of the occasion far out weighed any occasional rain.

Some beautiful speeches were given by the sons of both Karelle and Paul, echoing happiness and unity. Perhaps the most moving speech belonged to Paul, with tears welling up in his eyes he committed himself to Karelle and said that “he hoped he could be all that Karelle deserves”.

For me being present I found it a personally moving experience. Two lovely people finally finding their soul mate to share the rest of their life with, and to also witness such an array of friends present, with elation written all over their faces and so obvious in their interactions.

It was a wonderful day!

Emerson’s on Main, Thai Restaurant, Ulladulla.

For a delicious Asian style cuisine with a diverse large menu of mouth watering seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, I recommend you try this restaurant where many locals go. Fully licensed.

A review posted on TripAdvisor: What a surprise!  “We love eating out in the local Mollymook Milton Ulladulla area, however we had not ventured to south Ulladulla to try this restaurant. By chance, I overheard various people waxing eloquent about ‘Emerson’s On Main’. We were not disappointed. On arrival we were met by the hostess (friendly and attentive to our needs) who took us to a table that captured the outside breeze due to it being such a hot day. She was extremely polite. I chose ‘Salt & pepper Calamari and King Prawns’ and my wife chose the ‘Thai Duck Salad’. I can honestly say that this was the best Thai food we had tasted in a long while. An absolute surprise. Highly recommended for those who love Thai food”.

This Thai Restaurant has a Licensed Bar. At the rear of the premises it sells Bali/Asian Homewares, Outdoor/Indoor Pots, Water Features, imported direct from Jakarta Indonesia.

Trading hours are seasonal: Currently Lunch, Thurs. to Sun.

Tanoshi Restaurant: Location – Directions – Contact details

.

A MUST VISIT. Since opening in late 2017 this Japanese restaurant has enjoyed incredible patronage. By ‘word of mouth’ locals have come out of the ‘wood work’ so to speak to enjoy a wonderful dining experience operated by a very professional team of Japanese chefs supported by knowledgeable staff. Play it safe and make a booking rather than take your chance to just show up. It is a very popular restaurant, just ask the locals. PLUS its BYO!

Tanoshi Facebook reviews include:           (Link to their Facebook page TANOSHI)

  • Absolutely beautiful food! I have been to heaps of Japanese Restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. Michelle
  • Best sushi experience I’ve had, the spider roll soft shelled crab was the best way I have ever eaten soft shelled crab in my life a must go to, I’ll b back. Dan
  • Delicious food every visit so far. Reasonably priced and staff are fantastic. The one downside, if you can call it a downside, is that it is so busy, but having said that it deserves to be. A great addition to Ulladulla. Julia

Local Fishing – Ulladulla Area

Local Fishing

Great Local Fishing

Fishermen find some decent catches

Local lakes, estuaries and deep sea fishing have been rewarding local fishermen over the past couple of months. Equipped with the right gear and knowledge has been very rewarding with some huge Jew Fish caught in the local estuaries and a great Yellow Fin caught out to sea.

Recommend the lakes at Conjola, Burrill and Tabourie as well as the Narrawallee Inlet. Alternatively rock fishing can have its rewards at the north and south end of Mollymook.
