The Mollymook’s Ocean Swimmers
From the British Isles, Kath gives an update on her retirement travels: Hello Mollymook Ocean swimmers.
Hope you’re all well, how are you going Gary? We arrived on the Faroe Islands Monday afternoon and wow, what a landscape! These pics are from a place called Gasadalur on Vagar Island where the airport is. Lots of tunnels here to get through mountains or from island to island. We are now on Streymoy island. Google translator app has been very helpful, but most people speak English.
Hey Andrew, we loved Scotland, would have liked more time there. And we did go to Glasgow. Well I haven’t swam in this particular area yet, but will definitely be going in the ocean. Love, Kath from Mollymook.
Father Peter Hendricks shares this news with the Mollymook Swimmers.
From Peter the Priest: Two pieces of news from me.
- My mum passed away last week (Wed 17th), while very sad, the good news element is that she was ready and it was peaceful. The family were all there for her last two days which was very precious.
- Last Saturday, the family gathered for my niece’s wedding, so in the midst of all that was happening, that was indeed a wonderful celebration.
Thanks for keeping everyone connected. God bless.
Outback Queensland
Spent time at the ‘Charlotte Plains’ station, then onto Hebel. The bird life out here is amazing, I’ve taken a few thousand pics. I’m so busy, I haven’t had time to go through them all, but here are a few to give you another view of the outback.
