Autumn in New York – starring Richard Gere
Winter in Mollymook – with an all-star cast
Winter arrived June 1.
It poured raining during the early hours before day break. A few die hard swimmers turned up for a swim.
Following their swim, the clouds were already breaking and you could see and feel the rays of sunshine beginning to peep through.
The sun with its warmth and energy quickly lifted the spirits of the swimmers. It was reminiscent in many ways of the beautiful person whose birthday it was on June 1. Cheryl has a similar effect on the people blessed to know and interact with her. (‘What a wonderful world it would be,’ if there were more Cheryl’s)

Champion Patrol No 2:
Moni sent through these pics of Patrol No 2 who were announced ‘Patrol of the season 2014 -2015’ at the Mollymook Surf Club presentation night.
Moni penned this brief tribute: “I was so happy for Ross as he does such a good job as captain, always finding the right balance between when to be serious and when to have a little fun. He knows how to harvest a great team spirit, which I am sure you will see reflected in these pictures below. Even the young patrolling members have a genuine respect for him, and he them. It’s lovely to see and even lovelier to be part of his patrol”.
From all the swimmers: We congratulate Roscoe and his patrol members for a job well done.

Unplaced Patrol No 15
The vice captain of patrol 15, Louise was quick to point out that patrol No 2 will finally have some competition next year.
Louise has now settled into the vice captains role and she is ready to exert her influence. She feels that she can really knock their patrol into shape and make them the ‘champion contenders’. Click on images to enlarge.
Can you believe this? Not Kath and her Ferrari, but Raymondo!
He makes a belated return to the beach after tripping over a dog and he is mobbed by the young ladies. They flocked to him planting kisses on his checks.
Guys – what does Raymondo have, that we lack?
