Big D. first to tackle the Mollymook surf break

Monday was the dawning of another typical great day in Mollymook. A beautiful sunrise, ideal surfing conditions for the board riders whilst the swimmers dived in at ‘sooky corner’. Big D. saw the invitation and tried his luck with a ‘racing board’ and may we say successfully escaped getting wiped out. Around the corner at ‘Golfie’ they elected to tackle the surf with more conventional style ‘wave riding boards’ to the delight of the crowded onlookers including Zoe up in the grandstand. The Snowy: Sue sent this photo, taken on their recent trip to the snow last week. She writes “My baby – John- came with us, snowboarding of course! So, while some of the swimmers head to warmer climes this time of year, others prefer the colder conditions of the snow!! We had a beaut trip, snowing on Thursday then three “bluebird” days with blue skies and perfect skiing conditions:) Can’t wait to get down there again…
