Mollymook Surf Club will conduct their annual ocean swim on Saturday April 9, 2016

Overview

Our 2 km swim will start at the northern end of Mollymook Beach finish at the southern end of Mollymook Beach.

500m Junior and Novice ocean swim at southern end (open to Juniors 10, 11, 12 years, and ‘Novice’ ocean swimmers (13 years and over), commencing approx 9:00, Early bird entry fee $15 or on the day entry fee $20

2.0 km ocean swim from the northern end to the south end (open to 13 years and over), commencing approx 10:30 am, Early bird entry fee $30 or on the day entry fee $35

250m Dash for Cash swim at southern end (open to all entrants in either 2.0 km or 500m events). There are separate male and female swims commencing approx 11:30 am. Entry free to 500m and 2km swimmers. Proudly sponsored by Raine & Horne Real Estate, Ulladulla.

Prizes: First male and female in the 2.0 km will receive $500 each and place getters in the various age categories will also receive prizes. The Dash for Cash will reward the first male and female with $100 each.

Friday 8 April at the Mollymook Surf Club 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Saturday 9th April at the Mollymook Surf Club 7:30am – 8:30am

Timetable of the Day

7.30 – 8.45am Competitor Registration

8:00am Hot food van open

8:00 – onwards Secure baggage area open at Surf Club

9:00am Junior/Novice swim start (500 m)

9:30am Shuttle bus service starts

9:30 – 10.00am Swimmers to make their way to the northern end of Mollymook Beach

10.15 – 10.20am Pre race Briefing 10.30am 2 km Race start

11.30am Competitors assemble for the “Dash for Cash” (250m) – (Male swim first, followed by the female).

Approx 12:30pm Presentation to Category Winners
