Picture of Neil and Helen’s new found friend

Sam sent through this pic of the gang at the Mollymook Pop up restaurant – ‘opening night’ during the Country surf Championships. She also said a very big thank you to the morning swimmers for patronizing our Mollymook Pop-up restaurant and the fabulous ladies that assisted in the kitchen throughout the 3 day carnival and our own Wezza – the hot chip making expert.

Neil and Helen send greetings from Japan. Besides finding a new friend, they are really missing their swimming, thought perhaps this elderly couple below may lead them to the local pool.

Swimming pool found!

The article below appeared on the Illawarra Newsroom web site news regarding the re-opening of Mollymook Beach after the heavy storms Sunday week ago, causing the beach to be closed due to poor water quality. (Who would have ever swam in this water???) Anyway I looked, and the image was one posted a couple of years ago on one of our earlier Mollymook News releases.

Losal cooks this great birthday cake and brings it down to the Beach Hut cafe to share with the swimmers, celebrating his birthday, the big O – 40.
