Erratic weather patterns along the NSW Coastline.

Dick was spending time at his holiday house North Mollymook and rather than swim or board ride, he sat back with a coffee capturing these magnificent images during the last week or two as Mollymook experienced some erratic weather albeit not on the scale as elsewhere in the state.
The Lady Celebrates three score and ten
.
Helen a picture of health celebrated her 70th birthday on Saturday January 16 among family and friends. It is understood approximately 80 guests descended on Neil and Helen’s place for a wonderful evening blessed with fine weather and excellent food accompanied by some fine wine and a choice of various beers.
The young reporter posed the question: How would you describe Helen?
Replies included, “A lady of poise, elegance, grace, humility and dignity”
Neil mentioned that it was a wonderful night with many stories shared among her Mollymook Ocean swim friends. They just wished that grand-daughter Indira could have been here to share in this special occasion. (She is presently on a scholarship in Japan.)
P.S. The following morning Helen received news of the birth of her first GREAT grandchild, a beautiful boy, at 12.10 am and commented “How lucky am I”.

Sam and Brett’s Newport ‘Getaway’.
Sam wrote: We are spending some time visiting my sister & her family at their new home at Newport Beach. Jon, Samantha’s brother-in-law, is a member of the Newport Boys Ocean swimmers and he took Brett out with the group for a few swims & breakfast afterwards. A lovely group, just like the Mollymook crew. We went to Palm Beach for a swim & a beautiful dinner at Church Point in the Pittwater. A fun night at the old Quarantine Station for a ghost tour. A lovely few days had by all.

Graeme W. sends in this report from up north: “The old bloke in the picture has continued the Mollymook ocean swimmers tradition of being competitive not only at the bar but also in the surf with a first in the over 60 year old category and 27th out of 100 at today’s (Sunday January 17) Fingal Bay’s Surf Life Saving Clubs ‘One Mile ocean swim’.
To those who remember him (Teresa’s best customer at the Beach Hut), he says “hi to all his friends back home and contacts ……. Regards Bonnie and the Wolfman”.
