Mollymook beach was the scene where many flocked to celebrate a glorious Australia Day. A majestic sunrise ushered in what was to be a fabulous day shared by many at the celebration activities at the Mollymook Beach Icon Park. Sean Henry was an excellent MC as was Nick Rheinberger the Australia Day Ambassador. The coat and tie gave way to the sun and heat for Nick’s address before a large audience.
Mollymook Beach Waterfront guests’ enjoyed a picnic lunch in the beautiful surrounds, others frolicked in the surf with the Coastal Patrol boat keeping a watchful eye on those swimming. Food stalls had lengthy lines as did the Beach Hut cafe, with each doing a roaring trade throughout the day. (Click on pics to enlarge)
