Good News: Laura’s fund raising passes the $6,000 mark.

Laura’s planned 27 km ocean swim from Palm Beach to Shelly Beach to raise funds to fight Motor Neurone Disease is being supported by family, her ocean swimming fraternity and friends, with funds thus far past the 1/2 way mark and making progress towards achieving her target of $10,000

Due to latest outbreak of covid on the Northern Beaches and with restrictions in place, the event has now been moved to Saturday the 6th of February. She is so grateful to all that have supported her thus far.  She shared our swimmers link with the public: ‘A Beautiful Day’

Lena sends Christmas and New Year’s greetings to the Mollymook swimmers

She writes that back in Germany, “life is hectic juggling University, work and lock down. Over the Christmas / New Year period their COVID restrictions limited them to 5 people out of 2 households. She wishes us all the best and to stay safe! Love Lena.”

Dolphins at Mollymook this morning

There were pods of dolphins in a very playful mood. (Not a good pic due to the rain, poor visibility and distance.)

An update on the elderly:

Lovely to see Heather back swimming this morning. Later showing all and sundry her legs feet at the Beach Hut cafe.

John L. suffering chest pains, admitted to the Shoalhaven hospital and off to Wollongong for a procedure this afternoon. (Thursday)

June got her CT scan results today. In comparison with scans taken previously, these latest scans show that her back problems have deteriorated.
