WOODSTOCK AT THE BAWLEY ESTATE WINERY
.
Report and images by International roving correspondent, Billy R. Mollymook, Australia.
.
A very pleasant afternoon was anticipated by the Mollymook Ocean Beach swimmers heading off to the Bawley Point Winery to be entertained by none other than our very own man Michael Gaffney, a man of many hats starring in the band called The BLUE MOON CAFE all the way from Canberra.
“What sort of music” everyone enthusiastically asked Michael? “Yeah man say we just call it a collectic I don’t know music”!! (whatever that’s supposed to mean??)
They were all nervous Nellie’s at first, worried that the Canberra Feds gave them a clear warning arrests would be made if they played anywhere less than a few hours drive from Canberra. Especially after the debacle caused when many screaming fans of all genders were throwing an assortment of underwear etc onto the stage.
There was pandemonium as Mike stood there with guitar in hand looking like a mannequin on display in an adults only shop.
After two hours of non stop collectic I don’t know music the Bawley Winery security, namely a band of patrolling geese called it a day and went into attack mode squawking “Enough Enough”.
Seriously though, it was a great afternoon of excellent musical entertainment. Many thanks to Michael and the band for putting on such a fantastic performance.
“DEFINITELY” a must to see.
.
There we all are madly cheering “More More” to the Blue Moon band during a well earned break.

Ross caught up with his wife Jo making sure he wouldn’t miss anything after shooting through early from his beach patrol and as you can see Elizabeth one of the groups dedicated followers is showing an enthusiastic John and maybe Jacqui how to dance the Hokey-Pokey.
The Mollymook swimmers included Issi, Helen, Jan, Julie and Michael who all enjoyed the ambience of this perfect Anzac day afternoon.

Helen’s son in law cool Clint. And sitting beside cool Clint is laid back Graeme looking very relaxed after tripping the Light Fandango with his wife Suzanne.
The word was out, so two of Billy’s brothers decided to join in all the fun .. Johnny be good, a concert mandolinist in his own right??? And lay em in the aisles Raymond, a something or other extraordinaire!!
