Mollymook Ocean Swimmers – Sunday morning

The assumptions and theories abounded. What is out there in the water. It was a beautiful morning, water temp on the rise, now safely around 14 degrees as reported by Garry our official meteorologist,  the 1st wave of 2 swimmers had finished followed by the 2nd wave of 4 swimmers.

However next to take off was the 3rd wave of 14 swimmers. They looked perplexed as they stood at the surf club wondering what is it in the ocean. The consensus of opinion was a seal playing around and duck diving for fish. The 2nd wave had experienced some large schools of fish on their trip, so it was finally agreed, a harmless seal was possibly enjoying a feed. Some thought it was a bird, then it was realised that Raymundo was in their midst (making a comeback to swimming). Once it was confirmed that Raymundo had turned up, Ross suggested that is was possibly him out in the ocean doing his shag impression.

Garry wasn’t so convinced, for on the previous day, Saturday morning he had crossed paths with a lonely dolphin on the way up to the creek, and then on his return journey he saw a turtle.

The evidence was captured on camera: It was a bird (species unknown) and not Raymundo.
