The Difference a Day can make: Finally Daylight Saving is Over and the Dawning of a new day.

This above pic was taken just after 6.00 am, today Sunday rather than 7.00 am Saturday.
It’s been suggested that to keep swimmers connected, we begin running ‘their story’ on what they are doing during this ‘Coronavirus pandemic’ period.
As a lot don’t do Facebook, then the swimmers posts are an avenue for each to share their story, suggest including a few pics if possible, as that always helps in conveying a message. Even some humour.

John and Jacqui write: Well, it’s been a challenging time for us all these last few weeks. Jacqui and I have been observing the rules, going out walking together and keeping away from others.
I’ve had a few swims with Ray mid morning and I must say I could get used to the late starts. The biggest difference in our lives though I must say is the strengthening of the management structure in our house. Jacqui has officially been promoted to DTME (Domestic Task Management Executive) with her very own clipboard and I’ve been demoted to FOI (Follower of Instructions)
My aim now is to flatten the curve (that’s the job curve) because currently the daily increase of new jobs is exceeding my ability to carry them out in a timely manner so my list keeps growing. Have to admit though that the wonderful culinary rewards of gourmet dinners and creative deserts are worth it at the end of the day.
Our highlights have be the Skype calls with grandchildren and family plus keeping in touch by phone and text with our wonderful swimming and walking friends. We’re also keeping in touch with overseas and interstate friends, who by the way are all having trouble buying toilet paper.
One recent Skype call with grandchildren was a hoot, as we decided to make it Dress Up Friday. You’ll see from the photo a very rare sight with Jacqui in a swimming cap, pearls and goggles and me with my best scary smile.
To all you swimmers, walkers and doggies …. we’re missing you and hope we can get together again soon. John and Jacqui

Lekshe busy, busy, busy. Finds a bath tub near Kaye’s place. How she gets these things home to her caravan is beyond most people. It’s slowly all coming together, solar panels are all erected and roof raised to give her room to shower inside.

Ross and Jo’s day: “A fun, yet tiresome day, going through the routine over and over again, teaching Oscar to put his toys away when he has finished playing with them in an endeavour for him to help them keep their place ‘spic and span’. He has slowly learnt each of his soft toys by name and Ross and Jo can say “put such and such in the toy box” and he will do the correct toy.

Lloyd’s recent post: “I am using my lock down time to refine my baking skills. Didn’t bother to snap the Anzac Biscuits as they were a complete disaster. Sour dough, old fashioned chocolate cake, focaccia, spinach and ricotta quiche and moussaka”. As Duncan says, “C. A. R. B. S!”
Lloyd finished off …… “Now, if someone could find me a recipe for toilet paper….”
