Anne-Maree and daughter Georgia made Archer’s birthday special with an early morning surf at Mollymook Beach and a lovely ‘Ginger’ birthday cake which he shared with the swimmers. And on the same day that Archer was celebrating his 10th birthday, his mate and sometimes ‘joker’, Grant welcomed the birth of his 1st grandson. (Pic Anne-Maree)

Valarie nursing her dear grandson ‘River Ashley Naylor’ after a 2.00 am birth. Grant said “he slept all day”. The swimmers pass on their best wishes to Grant and Valarie and especially to Desi and Hayden. (P.S. We love the name ‘River Ashley’ in preference to Grant the 2nd.) (Pic Grant)
