Losal had travelled up to his Mum’s place on the Central Coast prior to the New Year’s Eve fires. Word came through that the Gentleman who owns the property at Myrtle Gully where Losal’s home/caravan was parked lost his life in those horrific Tuesday fires. Losal arrived back home yesterday to find his caravan/home was completely destroyed as per the pics above. Losal stayed with a friend in Milton last night, swam with the gang this morning and intends to ride his push bike and stay at Cunjurong Point later in the day.

Grant Morrow. Speaking to Grant this morning and later to Therese, the fires have moved north along the western side of the highway passed Grant’s entrance. And on the Highway south of Grant’s property, the fires actually crossed over the highway around the Wairo Beach area. It has been an anxious time for Grant and son in law Hayden with the fires so so close.

Katie Macartney provided an update on the generosity of Graeme and Suzanne who opened their home for Pippa Miller, a Nurse from Milton Medical Centre, her mum Claire and her children Beau and Gigi. Pippa who lost her home in Conjola Park on NYE can be seen in the pic (below) helping family with water transport from Conjola down to Narrawallee Inlet.
